Abstract
The status of subfamilies and genera within Chondracanthidae Milne Edwards, 1840 has recently been revised.
Forty four genera are currently recognised as valid for the Chondracanthidae and a comprehensive catalogue to
the valid genera and species of the family is presented here. In addition, numerous supplementary observations are
presented on existing taxa for which incomplete or inadequate data were previously available.
